About the creators
Artisan’s Table is a thriving restaurant in the heart of Downtown Orlando, thanks in large part to the leadership of Creative Director Monica McCown and Owner/Operator Lee Kaleel.
Monica has been with Artisan’s Table since the beginning, helping to establish the restaurant’s reputation for delicious, innovative cuisine. She is a self-taught chef passionate about creating new recipes and experimenting with different flavors and ingredients.
In addition to her role as the creative director of Artisan’s Table, Monica is a Culinary and Operations Consultant to restaurants around Orlando, including Ember Supper Club. She also volunteers as the Vice President of the Orlando Hospitality Alliance and the Vice Chair of Orlando’s Downtown Development Board.

Lee, who has more than 30 years of experience in the restaurant industry, is the driving force behind Artisan’s Table’s success. As a hands-on owner, he is deeply involved in all aspects of the business. Lee is a seasoned pro in the restaurant industry, having developed several successful dining concepts in the Central Florida area, including Seasons 52 and Ravenous Pig.
Together, Monica and Lee make a formidable team, with Monica bringing her culinary expertise and Lee’s wealth of experience in restaurant operations. They founded Artisan’s Table in 2013, and just one year later, the restaurant opened its doors to the public. Since then, Artisan’s Table has gone from strength to strength, attracting foodies and casual diners alike with its delicious menu, friendly atmosphere, and commitment to excellence. And with Monica and Lee at the helm, there’s no doubt that Artisan’s Table will continue to thrive and grow in the years to come.
